FFS! Apple keyboard problem

Where the hell is the hash key (pound key for the american bretheran)? - I would type it but can't find it!!!!!!

 

Surely nobody would be foolish enough to produce a BSD-based machine with no hash key? 8O

ALT + is the secret for many missing things on an apple keyboard.

 

ALT + E, then e gives you é

 

ALT + q gives you Å“

 

Alt + w gives you ∑

 

Alt + Q gives you Å’ ...

 

There are many more and I cannot find the doc on the apple site that use to list all of these. If I find my old copy I'll post it on here ... or you could just experiment :-)
