ful56_uk Posted August 28, 2009 Posted August 28, 2009 Hello Can you redirect the temp Internet files and cookies in a man profile. Will it work if I redirect them in the registery to the users network drive eg h:\my setting\ folder name. Also once you make a change in the ntuser.man you get extra files within the man root folder named ntuser{467313 and lots of numbers. Is it safe to delete them as well as the .log file within the man folder mark

Yes, you can redirect them, but I recommend you do so with a proper UNC path instead of a mapped drive, in case the mapping is unavailable for some reason (during logon, for example). Also once you make a change in the ntuser.man you get extra files within the man root folder named ntuser{467313 and lots of numbers. Is it safe to delete them as well as the .log file within the man folder mark I've never seen that happen, it probably shouldn't.
