This is a blog by a guy who built his own house in Scotland. Well written, funny, and loads of fantastic pictures. If you like "Grand Designs", you HAVE to read this. Very entertaining and interesting!

 

Took me about an hour to get through as the pages load VERY S L O W L Y - stick with it though as it's a great read.

Just spend an hour flicking through and looking at the pictures (and reading bits that caught my eye). I'll have to come back another day to read the detail
