A couple of days ago, and after a month of complaints about our Broadband service, BT invited us to install isposure - Finding the fastest ISP in your area... and in return for telling them our agent ID they'd take £25 off our bill.

Our linespeed during the day has been reaching the giddy heights of 0.7 Meg with occasional outstanding performance of 1.3 Meg - the line drops regularly and takes hours to connect. BT of course say there isn't a problem.

The initial test gave us an expected 1.1 Meg... but since then it's been climbing. We've not been under 2 Meg since yesterday lunchtime! In fact I've got 2.6 at the moment. Not quite believing isposure, I've double checked against speedtest and that confirms this. We only dropped the line once yesterday and reconnection was quick.

I'm not complaining, but I can't help feeling that BT have finally done something.

isposure is gradually downloading the whole internet for you in the background ;)

If it is, it's doing it more quickly than BT did without isposure's help!
