connections to the desktop

In a new IT suite we are having to mount the base units under the desk and run the cables to the desk top. We would like to have a neat unit on the desk through which users can connect to USB, audio and firewire but haven't been able to find any with this combination - does anyone have any suggestions

I can only suggest you search for AV wall plates or similar and attach the wall plates directly to a worktop. I can't see why this wouldn't work.

There's a company called Cables Direct which does a variety of sockets but will also manufacture to order - this web page Cables Direct Product Range - AV - MultiMedia Faceplates - SVGA-AUDIO-USB, Dual USB, Dual SVGA, Double SVGA with Serial, RCA and 3.5mm Socket, has some examples of what they can do.
