Potato-Peeler Posted July 22, 2009 Posted July 22, 2009 I regularly use nlite at both home and work without too many issues. However we are trying to get an extra year out of a computer suite by giving it a new image with a stripped down OS. For some reason group policies aren't all installing, and clickview is giving the following error The specified module could not be found. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x8007007E) Does anyone have a clue what it is i keep not including to make these things happen? Cheers
Guest TheLibrarian Posted July 22, 2009 Posted July 22, 2009 There are a lot of things that can fubar Group Policy if left out / disabled. One I found that isn't immediately obvious is the TCP/IP NetBIOS Helper service.
Potato-Peeler Posted July 22, 2009 Author Posted July 22, 2009 Cheers librarian, fan of discworld by any chance? lol. Right that appears to be working, any idea about all the errors im getting with clickview?
Guest TheLibrarian Posted July 23, 2009 Posted July 23, 2009 Not only a Discworld fan but I look like The Librarian too. I do not know what ClickView is I'm afraid. Sorry.
spikysonic Posted August 6, 2009 Posted August 6, 2009 Hi Potatopeeler, I am fairly experienced with ClickView. What OS are you trying to run ClickView on? Can you manually try to install .net framework 1.1 and service pack 1 for .net 1.1. Also, can you ensure that the Divx or Xvid codec is installed - both do exactly the same thing. Let me know if you need any more help Regards, Sonic I regularly use nlite at both home and work without too many issues.
