fawkers Posted July 20, 2009 Posted July 20, 2009 Hello Everyone I'm trying to set up a new ISA server its enterprise edition since were going to have a pair of them spreading the work around. I'm currently setting up the first box, Installed Server 2003 ent. (two nic's one internal one external), Installed ISA 2006 and SP1 and patched to the latest updates. Then I've created a web chaining rule to our upstream LA Proxy. Tried to go to google it works, searched for somthing random it works, trie to go to live.com 400 Error, hotmail.com 400 Error, tried windows update goes to the site but wont run! Anyone got any ideas whats going on?
FN-GM Posted July 21, 2009 Posted July 21, 2009 Does it always block it or us it intermitent? Something I find odd is that both live & hotmail ate blocked and both a Microsoft site. Also live has now gone, if you try to get on it takes you to bing. Do you get this if you point directly to the upstream proxy? What happens if you remove the proxy chaining rule?
FN-GM Posted July 21, 2009 Posted July 21, 2009 This is pretty weird, one of the ISA servers on one of the networks i support has started doing this today. A few hours previous installed a patch. Did you manage to get yours sorted?
