Sophos 1606 network logs error

hi, I have been having a great deal of trouble with a server (win 2003 dell power edge 1900) that runs the sophos enterprise console, it seems that it does not want to update automagically and in the left hand pane it says "last update 16 feb 2009".

 

I can update the libraries but doing a manual download and then visiting every clinet and running the updates. but this is a big place and extremely time consuming. i have tried to uninstall the management console but i am getting this error message. Also tried a repair.. and still nothing.

 

Error 1606: Could not access Network location logs.

 

 

now i have checked out the sophos site and i found these links.

Has anyone experienced this before?
