Jamo Posted June 17, 2009 Posted June 17, 2009 Has anyone got any ideas on charging these things! We have 16 and are now trying to come up with an idea of how to charge them all so they will be ready for lessons! Currently I have the idea that we should use a powered USB hub although I'm not sure if they will fit next to eachother being slightly wider than normal USB devices. D-Link DUB-H7 USB2.0 7 Port Hub - Ebuyer Seems to be thebest option so far. Anyone come across this problem and like to share an alternative solution?
plexer Posted June 17, 2009 Posted June 17, 2009 Do those cams not come with a short usb extension lead in case you can't get them plugged into a usb port? If so that will solve your space issue if not you could buy some they shouldn't be too expensive? Ben
Jamo Posted June 17, 2009 Author Posted June 17, 2009 Nope they don't they are 15 quids extra and I havent seen them in any shops I think 1.8M extension leads are a bit extreme lol. But I guess its not so bad if it comes down to that!
powdarrmonkey Posted June 17, 2009 Posted June 17, 2009 Nope they don't they are 15 quids extra You've been had, if they're the same Flip Cams as ours just chuck a normal USB extension on them. If you pay more than two quid, you're doing badly.
