DELL 2400MP projector

Has anyone got a DELL 2400MP projector and if so have you had any problems with it. I have a few that are playing up and DELL have replaced them and they still play up!

 

Basically they either take 10 minutes to come on, display the LAMP warning light - meaning the bulb needs replacing, which it doesn't, to fix you just unplug and once powered back up it works fine for a while and the other issue is, it sometimes doesn't find the source, say a video is connected it takes about 20 presses of the source button until it finally displays the video.

Hi we have not had any of these in for rwpair form any UK schools so i cant help much but it sounds like a mainboard problem, so just send them back again.

Thanks, I'm currently in the process of sorting out with Dell replacements for the faulty projectors, hopefully the replacements are fault free.

All faulty projectors have been replaced.

 

Did have one though that was playing up when trying to connect to the video, will be testing this again tomorrow.

Stupid projectors! 2 of the replacements back from June have just had the same fault as the previous projectors!!!!!

Surely it's obvious what the problem is??

 

They're Dell......

 

They should master computers before they even try anything else.
