Duke Posted October 23, 2009 Posted October 23, 2009 Where as I have had to go back to 2.5 again as I cannot get backup exec to work at all with 3.1 Can you browse the S7000 at all when you're on the backup selection screen in BE? If you do a credentials test does it pass? Have you got any options for not using the remote agent? When mine can't connect to a remote agent (because there isn't one) but it can still access the share it just tells me it's falling back on the local agent. presumably all you're trying to back up is a standard non-hidden CIFS share? (If it makes you feel any better, my S7410 just threw me a Major Defect! Still working fine oddly enough!) Chris
