Redirected Desktop Quirk

Hi Everybody,

 

Here's a question for those of you in the know regarding Windows 7.

 

Now a little background, I have setup a test network in VMware Workstation comprising of Server 2008 R2 and Windows 7 RC. I have created a new AD domain, created a few OUs, created a few dummy users, created some groups for said users, and have created some shared folders.

 

One particular shared folder is located at \\SERVER-1\Redirected_Desktops$\Students and I have configured my user's Desktop to be redirected here through GP. I have set the permissions so only Administrators has write access and students have read only. All is fine so far.

 

Now, here is the quirk. I noticed that Windows 7 places a new folder in User root folder, along with "Pictures", "Music" and so forth. How can I remove this?

 

I have attached a screenshot to explain further. Notice the folder "Students" on the bottom row.

 

How this be removed? Is there a Group Policy setting to remove this?
