dirtydog Posted May 14, 2009 Posted May 14, 2009 Hi all, I have just been given a PowerDown unit made by e-on to test CLICKY LINK Im trialing it on a desktop with a monitor/speakers/VGA spitter attached so these are powered off when the PC shuts down, the one thing I was worried about was the 'wake on lan' but I can power on from NetSupport no problem! It seems like a great idea especially if quite a few devices are attached - are any of you guys using them or do you know of any other manufacturers that are making them? Thanks!
Sirbendy Posted May 14, 2009 Posted May 14, 2009 loads of them about now... Some like that, some like multiways. Google "intellipanel", or "intelliplug" or similar. Bought one for my mum..PC goes into hibernate after 10 minutes, and off goes her laser printer, CRT, uplighter, DAB radio and heater. She loves it. 1
