Deploying Sharepoint Designer 2007

Hi guys,

 

I've been asked to get Sharepoint Designer 2007 deployed to a computer suite so that we can get staff on the IT focus group playing about with it during their next session.

 

I tried, unsuccessfully to package and deploy using GPO so I'm looking at doing it through SCCM. We've got the server setup and use it for a few other things but the deployment I setup for Sharepoint Designer isn't working

 

 

Any tips/tricks??

You say you tried to package it and deploy via GPO - are you aware you can deploy it via GPO without repackaging? It uses the same method as Office 2007 - it's by no means perfect but it did work for us.

I have not deployed it to a ICT Suite yet, but i have deployed it to 5 machines via this method and it worked no problem, as stated it is no means perfect but it did the job.
