stu Posted March 30, 2009 Posted March 30, 2009 So 7pm tickets go on sale for leeds, linup get announced at same time, nuking the servers but what they expect. is anyone planning on going? brought my ticket last year from presales via seetickets but now with having to save for uni so only going if the line up is paticuarly amazing! what bands would people like to see on line up? heard roumers of just indi headliners that no headliner this year will be heavy so not really overly keen!
IrritableTech Posted March 30, 2009 Posted March 30, 2009 I've been to every year except last year. Going to Glastonbury instead this year. As festivals go, Leeds is pretty badly organised IMHO. Artic Monkeys have been announced to headline one of the days at Leeds.
Iain.Faulkner Posted March 30, 2009 Posted March 30, 2009 I got my earlybird tickets last year, so no desperate rush for me tonight :-) Slightly disappointed with the Arctic Monkeys though....especially as they headlined the last time that I went to Leeds back in 2005!!
stu Posted March 30, 2009 Author Posted March 30, 2009 the environment at leeds is awful much prefer download but if the linup is good then i go for music been 07 + 08, so would be nice to have 3rd year behind me but not too fussed
stu Posted March 31, 2009 Author Posted March 31, 2009 awful lineup for leeds so far (YN) fingers crossed for the lockup stage!
Iain.Faulkner Posted March 31, 2009 Posted March 31, 2009 Totally agree, really disappointed. Suddenly I feel the need to go to Download!
stu Posted March 31, 2009 Author Posted March 31, 2009 Yeah well luckly i already going download and been bouncing off the walls with every announcement that has been but gonna hold on to my ticket till the lockup stage is announced at leeds! proper love festivals though so even if linup is :censored:then least i can still just have fun chillin with mtes in feild!
stu Posted April 23, 2009 Author Posted April 23, 2009 Faith no more self confirmed for reading and leeds! proof not overly thrilled if they weren't playing download already might have been but now its one less place for other good bands i might want to see oh and lock up stage to be announced at 4am on Tuesday, on the radio 1 lock-up show

stu Posted April 30, 2009 Author Posted April 30, 2009 Yeah same tour mine was Manchester they also had sonic boom six opening
rolfea Posted April 30, 2009 Posted April 30, 2009 Oh wow... was that in the academy? if so, if You had gone next door to the Academy 3 you could have seen my band play.. it was one of the unsigned gigs. Was going to try and use the backstage pass to go meet the fish, but we thought against it. Still, it was cool to be playing in a building metres away from the fish and streetlight!
stu Posted April 30, 2009 Author Posted April 30, 2009 haha i nearly went to that gig by mistake but mate told me was going threw wrong door... u should have used your back stage pass wouldn't have hurt
rolfea Posted May 1, 2009 Posted May 1, 2009 probably not, but it had the stage name on.. so not sure if it would have worked.
