docman not downloading

Hi,

 

I'm playing with docman and am hoping I'll be able to use it for teachers to be able to upload content to a specific page based on their year group. I seem to have got the uploading side of docman working, I've been able to upload my own documents for testing. But when I try to download these documents they're not coming down. The page just sits as-is and nothing downloads. Am not sure how to fix this. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated as I'm almost ready to go live! Eeek!

why are you designing a new site in Joomla 1.0?

 

Not sure about your problem as I use Remository for my downloading/uploading, but you might find this forum useful Forum - Joomlatools
