Burning Ts File with subtitles

I have recorded some tv.which records in a ts format. Does anyone know how to record a ts file with the subititles. I have Nero 9 and win tv 7

 

Also i would like to convert it to a wmv with subtitles to.

 

I understand that a Ts file is just an Mpeg with subtitles. But i cant seem to record with with subtitles dispayed.

Not tried to do this exactly since my home dvd player is xvid not wmv based, but I'd have a look at ccextractor - CCExtractor home page - A closed caption software decoder - this should dump a nice subtitle file for you, then you can burn your converted video file + subtitles hardcoded with something like convertxtodvd. Don't know if Nero can handle adding hardsubs?
