Iphone 3g- Any recommendations for earphones (with mic)

I'm looking for a set of wired earphones for my iphone 3g with a microphone so I can also use it as a hand-free kit. I've contemplated the apple ones but they're getting mixed reviews, aren't 100% compatible with the iphone and are pretty expensive.

I'm not a massive user of them, but I have these:

They were actually the other pair I'd considered. Do they work OK as a hands-free kit aswell with the iphone?

Yeah no complaints with them really. I guess the only comment worth making is to keep the Mic high and unobscured (but you probably figured that out already lol).

 

I just re-looked on the link I sent and notice there is a PTT version of it. I know that technically makes it not hands free, but I wonder if I was looking again if I'd buy those instead... it might be quite handy to listen in to a conversation or choose to effectivly mute someone without having to fumble around on the display...
