matt40k Posted March 3, 2009 Posted March 3, 2009 Is .net Framework 2 installed (run windows updates) and is ASP enabled?
Cravon Posted March 17, 2009 Posted March 17, 2009 hm... does it work if you go directly to the server and not via the URL? or try reinstalling .asp 2 and 3?
FN-GM Posted March 17, 2009 Posted March 17, 2009 Is the client fully upto date with Windows updates for IE and .net framework etc?
apearce Posted March 18, 2009 Posted March 18, 2009 Can you open the site in SharePoint Designer - this might give you more information on the error
wesleyw Posted March 18, 2009 Author Posted March 18, 2009 I de-activated a webpart I'd installed. Also had something similar with the student section crashing but opening it in firefox showed it as an error with another webpart becoming corrupted alls well that ends well. Wes
mattmoo Posted March 23, 2009 Posted March 23, 2009 A good way to deactivate we parts in pages that produce similar errors is to add either ?contents=1 or &contents=1 to the end of the URL depening on the URL e.g. http://intranet/default.aspx?contents=1 http://intranet/default.aspx?eventid=1221&contents=1 Thanks Matt
