Trying to run a robocopy backup script to save everything to our external HDisk, Had this set up working fine before but now I get a permissions error 0x80070005 when I try to modify/create a task

I checked out the following link

"Access is denied" error message when you run a batch job on a Windows Server 2003-based computer

The user I am trying to modify the time and password of an existing script is a local admin on the server. It is not an issue with the batch file as it never even attempts to run. The issue is with task sched, oh and I cant create a new task either! I can right click and "create new task" but nothing happens. what gives?
