I'm in the process of buying a used car for an uncle who lives in Dublin, apparently cars are more cheaper here in Blighty. My question is, in order to ship the car, can I just use the New Keepers V5C Supplement slip supplied by the seller (private sale) to ship the car over OR do I have to wait for the new keepers log book V5C to come back from DVLA, which can take about 4 weeks before attempting to ship. What documents are generally required before shipping can be done? How do i go about shipping the car? Any approx. quote for this? This will be a permanent export. Thanks for your help in advance.

somabc Posted February 25, 2009 Posted February 25, 2009 (edited) No way should you ship a car from the UK to Ireland, just drive it there, it would only take a day or two. I'll do it for a fee! You can get a ferry, from NW England, NW & SW Wales and SW Scotland. Edited February 25, 2009 by somabc
