Startup script time-out gotcha aargh!!

I didn't have the time to do an all singing all dancing WMI script for inventory so I decdide to use GPO startup scripts instead.

 

Unfortunately it turns out that the by default the client PC only allows 10 minutes for all scripts to run. This means that not all the data I wanted was collected. I've got to do it all again :banghead:

Could you use PSEXEC to run it remotely on the machines?

The benefit of startup scripts was meant to be to do things concurrently.

There's a windows setup file that'll install the whole lot with OCSinventory preconfigured.

Upgraded my home pc with dapper today from breezy. Went fine apart from amarok disappearing and broken sound. Both easily fixed!
