How does your school use SIMS.net Mobile?

 

What are the pros and cons of using this?

The pros are.....um...er....

 

The cons are it's expensive, useless, slow, totally insecure....should I continue?

Expensive and Slow I can agree

others not so sure...

 

Pros.. Mainly designed for PE staff. they sync their PDA with SIMS in the PE office in the morning. go offline, and then take registers, conduct logs, and a few other bits out in the playing field or the Swimming Pool.. come back at the end of the day - go online and it syncs the data back into SIMS.. the sync can be slow - but does work..

 

It can also be used for trips and visits IIRC...
