Worst natural disaster in australias history. The best part of this whole mess is the amount of aid the rest of aus is providing. I heard today that it was something like ~30 Million in telethons and stuff. Theres even more to come aswell i think on tele.

 

It trully is sickening though - the amount of human life lost (specially in regards to our other tragedies IE waterfall train disaster, port arthur, even our diggers in combat).

 

And how could someone start these fires on purpose? I say dont even punish them - just find them and drop them off at the tent city for the refugees and turn a blind eye.

i second the notion. real tragedy. drop them off a cliff. it's utterly despicable.
