Question on qualifications

Hi, id really appreciate some help here!

 

I am interested in many areas of IT, can someone please tell me which are the most popular courses?

 

Also, in terms of salary and in-demand qualifications, which course do you recommend to be the best?

 

I hope that this was not too vague, im just trying to work out which course I ought to go for...........Thanks!

If your just starting out for the CompTIA N+ A+ MCDST.

 

Are you working towards any academic stuff? Like degree or NVQ etc?

 

Might be worth looking into those.

I would second that. The person that we're going to be employing soon will be put on an apprenticeship (level 2 & 3) which includes the A+, Network+, MCDST, MCSA, etc... However this is for the support side of IT.

 

However if you're talking about web development, then take a look at the CIW range of certs and the Adobe ACA range of certs.

 

Then for programming, I would strongly look at the academic side like the .Net programming diploma (level 2/3), HNC's and degree's. Then the professional range of certs once your in the job.
