Basic Moodle Set-Up: Needs a Theme

Hello, i have just installed moodle on my windows XP Machine for the first time. At the moment i have a basic installation of moodle (pictured below)

 

Basic Installation (with moodle theme):

I am at the stage now where i want to add a custom company theme. As far as i know there are several ways of doing this but which one is the best?. I want the theme to remain set all the time and not be wiped on next moodle update. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
