cjohnsonuk Posted January 30, 2009 Posted January 30, 2009 We're reviewing our "e" safety practices with the intention of producing a new policy to include at least the following: Web Content filtering Social networking sites and protection of personal data Real time chat Supervised access School IT security and bypass prevention E bullying Integration with behaviour policy, including sanctions and how to apply these with minimum disruption to T&L Does anyone already have anything set up or any documents that you are able to share please to save us reinventing the wheel? Are there any good resources online? Thanks ChrisJ
Netman Posted January 30, 2009 Posted January 30, 2009 (edited) You could start with Becta http://schools.becta.org.uk/index.php?section=is&catcode=ss_to_es_pp_pol_03. SWGfl has some good info from their conferences too - South West Grid for Learning Trust - e-Safety Conferences edit: Had this bookmarked from Kent too: http://www.clusterweb.org.uk/UserFiles/CW/File/Advisory_Service_ICT/KCN/Broadband_for_Schools/eSafety-Guidance-May-2007-PDF.pdf Edited January 30, 2009 by Netman

Guest coquet636 Posted June 26, 2009 Posted June 26, 2009 I along with county support spent ages producing an epolicy.... . Now our county have issued a draft that i am currently integrating our policy into,. The main part of my policy was taken from the Kent e-policy guidelines which they were happy for people to use and adjust. i will attach our old policy for now.epolicies.zip
