[ms office - 2007] Printers

Hi All,

 

One of our students is getting the following error messages-

 

"This document was previously formatted for the printer %PrinterName% but that printer isn't available. Do you want to use the default printer %PrinterName%"

 

So we clicked yes to use the default, then got this message-

 

"There was a problem retrieving printer information for this object. The object my have been sent to a printer that is unavailable."

 

Any ideas?

Could it be related to the normal.dot template at all?

 

I do know that office 2k7 is a pain in the when it comes to default printers if the printer is offline.. Often causes a lockup.

 

Can't offer much help past that though I'm afraid...
