mac_shinobi Posted January 1, 2009 Posted January 1, 2009 Got a pair of M Audio speakers from ebay for £100 M-Audio Studiophile AV 40 Pair Speakers / Monitors AV40 on eBay, also, Monitors, Pro Audio Equipment, Musical Instruments (end time 29-Jan-09 12:32:27 GMT)
Andrew_C Posted January 1, 2009 Posted January 1, 2009 Don't stint yourself buying speakers. They are the MOST important area to spend money on (assuming CD input rather than turntable) It is trivial to build a CD player that is near perfect, likewise an amplifier, but speakers have moving parts and this is hard. Have a listen to music you know on whatever you want to buy. Don't believe ANY of the snake-oil surrounding speaker, or interconnecting cables.
