beeswax Posted May 15, 2006 Posted May 15, 2006 I've been proceeding down the Moodle path quite happily for a few weeks now, and have even managed to get some teachers interested, but why am I doing it? Will vle's be compulsory, are we at that stage now, or is it something that's just strongly recommended? Can anyone enlighten me?
GrumbleDook Posted May 15, 2006 Posted May 15, 2006 Will it be compulsory for schools to have some method of delivering, monitoring and teaching via a digital platform? Yes ... partly because there is a drive and commitment to all students having an electronic portfolio. It is likely to be the integration with your MIS that is the clincher though. Effective use of continuous assesstment as a method of providing accurate data of attainment for analysis by school leaders is a key element of good or outstanding use of data within a school. I am waiting for our report to come in and then I will blog my reaction to certain things.
eejit Posted May 15, 2006 Posted May 15, 2006 There is no Moodle to SIMS connection yet is there? Once that happens things will really take off.
