TimJing Posted March 30, 2009 Posted March 30, 2009 If you are thinking of Windows 7 in the future make sure you have plenty of disk space - I tried Windows 7 on my netbook and I used vlite to shrink down the install. My winsxs folder was soon accounting for 25% of my install. I'd recommend 32gb+ which rules out many of the ssd based netbooks. (The NC10 seems a winner in this respect as well). The specs on the 2140 is really nice, especially the layout of the keyboard. klop Posted April 22, 2009 Posted April 22, 2009 our latitude series laptops have a pre-login for thw wireless, so that way staff have to wait for the wifi to connect before their login takes place meaning all shares, printers etc are connected at login. does anybody know if any of these netbooks have a pre-login setting for wireless? i think i'm heading for the nc10 or nc20 and will be installing xp pro cheers
