Face-Man Posted December 2, 2008 Posted December 2, 2008 My network has suddenly decide to go on a go slow. Everything appears fine I've made no changes but I'm getting ping times from my servers ranging from <1 ms to 150ms. The switches seem fine... any ideas
jj99 Posted December 2, 2008 Posted December 2, 2008 Have you put any new switches in or updated them recently? Have you tried ping large packets? (ping (server name) -l 40000 we had a simalr issuse and it was due to the duplex being set wrong on our new switches.

danrhodes Posted December 3, 2008 Posted December 3, 2008 Hi, Sounds like a lopp or network storm to me get your network scanners out and have a check, try to determin which IP or switch the traffic is coming from. Or try the manual way by unplugging each switch and then work your way down to one port on the switch. Dan
