sanyo xacti vpc-ca6 - screen problem

I checked on here for a solution but only came up with me singing its praises

 

One of the cameras has developed a fault whereas when you open it up the screen rotates continuously, like when the tracking was off on the old tvs.

 

I didn't register it for the 3 year warranty ( I thought it was one year but going ont he Sanyo site it says its 3) and they don't list any service centres in the UK...

 

It seems to record okay, you just can't view the viewer correctly.

 

Any ideas? The tech support page online is giving me a 404.

I know this is a long shot, seeing as the post is 1 1/2 years old, but I'm having this same problem with my xacti vpc-ca6. Did you ever find a resolution?

It ended up going away for repair as far as I can remember.. was expensive.

That stinks...makes me pretty reluctant to buy Sanyo products again. I think ours started having this problem intermittently about a year ago, when it was less than 2 years old. I'd expect more from a $350 camera. Thanks for the reply!
