Just a heads-up before it appears on our website...

We have an opportunity for a Perl developer at our Leeds office (LS12 6QA).

This is not a product Dev role, it is working on internal systems - eg. the blocklist manager system, our internal databases etc.

 

Core skills:

Perl, SQL (pref mysql),linux

Core attributes:

Sense of humour, impervious to kryptonite

Salary:

Well, it isn't that senior a role, but then again we pay well.

Responsibilities:

varied - part of a geographically diverse team. You'd be working with Me and Rob in Leeds, but communicating with folk all over the world. Lot of opportunity to do things "your way", and really make an impression.

 

Oh, and of course posting on Edugeek is actively encouraged

Yeh, I guess perl is pretty much a pre-requisite, though it is quite similar to PHP in many ways.
