Erro code 3 installing activPrimary

We have a single copy of activprimary and i would like to install it so we can use a set of activ vote pds.

 

Unfortunately i can't even get activprimary to install. It starts and then fails with an error code 3 result.

 

I logged in as an admin to do the install. Its an XP Sp3 running on a mac mini (which shouldn't make a difference). Is there an update needed for the software so i can use it with SP3?

 

If so where the hell can you download the updates for the software?

 

Sorry the version is 2.5.54
