If i recall correctly if you backup and restore the OD archive files this doesn't restore your managed preferences. Also if you export your users and groups and then re-import them i don't think this brings back your managed prefs either. So how do you backup the managed prefs in OS X WGM?
DMcCoy Posted September 23, 2008 Posted September 23, 2008 in WGM click on the user, group or computer group that you want to backup the preferences for. Go to the Server -> Export option. The reverse for importing (select the item you want to import and overwrite the settings for, just be careful as I don't believe it has any confirmation). 1
