FN-GM Posted September 13, 2008 Posted September 13, 2008 Can a cisco catalyst 2924 be manged through a web interface please? Thanks Z
kmount Posted September 20, 2008 Posted September 20, 2008 I don't know the answer but google seems to imply SNMP and serial only.
matt40k Posted September 20, 2008 Posted September 20, 2008 Why u want to use the web interface? Is it the EMI or the SMI image?
torledo Posted September 20, 2008 Posted September 20, 2008 (edited) Why u want to use the web interface? Is it the EMI or the SMI image? Er, the 2900XL series of switches are layer 2 only...so no EMI or SMI image. Same goes for the 3500XL....iif you mean Si or Ei what difference does it make as to how he wants to access and configure the switch. That's why cisco give people the choice. matt40k Posted September 21, 2008 Posted September 21, 2008 I though the 2900 series had two types of images, standard and a more advanced feature version. My thinking was is the web interface an advanced feature. Anyway, HP Toptools, does that deal with Cisco equipment? I think there is other software that does a simpliar job. Anyway, might be worth print a command list, see if you can spot anything, use help command, and google , to help find out more information of any command u don't know what it does.
FN-GM Posted September 21, 2008 Author Posted September 21, 2008 Thanks for the comments, it uses the enterprise IOS. I will have a play later on. zak
