BenQ_Chris Posted August 25 Posted August 25 Whether you've just installed a new screen over the summer holidays or you’re thinking about upgrading your current set up, it may be time to talk to BenQ. We offer demos (remote and in person) as well as complimentary remote train for both our subscription free cloud services or the panels themselves. Below are some of the key features we have, but not all of them! Our interactive displays can be used as large monitors, interactive displays or wireless casting screens, there really is no "correct" way to use them. We also offer a host of complimentary benefits that you may find useful: Google Play Store (EDLA) integration with RE05A, RE05E and RE05 (as well as the older RE04A, RE04, RP04), using DMS you can control access to this and which apps are visible on the screens - LINK DMS - Device Management System (this has recently had a big upgrade at no cost) - LINK AMS - Account Management Service - LINK Broadcast - Messaging service - LINK Instashare 2 - network based casting supporting Android, iOS, Chromebook, PC, mac & integrated AI features - LINK Now all these cloud services do require internet connectivity, all the panels come with built in LAN ports or alternatively there is a wireless dongle (WD02AT) that is available as an optional accessory; however it is included as standard with the RP04 and RP05 screens. On our latest screens there is also EZWrite 6, a huge step forward from us with the built in whiteboard software. It is also available at no extra cost for PC & Mac - LINK I fully appreciate that that is probably a lot to take in, which is why we have launched the BenQ Academy - LINK Users can log in to their account (once set up) and they can track their progress through the various videos hosted here. There are several CPD accredited courses too. Warranty (de/re-install) - register the product to get an FOC upgrade from 3 to 5 years (RE, RM, RP 65" and larger) - LINK In the unlikely event of your product being faulty, please contact our customer care team - LINK We also can support training and configuration. Should you have any questions or would like to arrange so training sessions for you or your staff please drop me a message. I'll do what I can to help.
wrobinson Posted September 2 Posted September 2 Hi Ben, We have installed some new screens - Model RE04A_series, running android version 14, but when we connect them to our pc's (Dell Optiplex 5490 AIO) via a display port adapter, the benq screen displays no signal and the graphics card on the pc crashes. We have a previous model RE603A connected in the same way with no issues. Have you come across this before? Thank you, Will
BenQ_Chris Posted September 2 Author Posted September 2 @wrobinson Can you please advise the firmware version? The RE04A format for firmware is 1.0.0.x. Is that DisplayPort at source in to HDMI on the panel? or is this Display Port to Display Port? Feel free to reply here or drop me a DM.
wrobinson Posted September 3 Posted September 3 Hi Chris, is it the touch firmware verison? This says: 1.1.5 Yes display port at source, into the HDMI on the panel. Thanks, Will
BenQ_Chris Posted September 3 Author Posted September 3 @wrobinson no it will likely be called software version, you should be able to locate it either by going to Settings -> Advanced -> BenQ Software Update or About.
