Location: Stroud, Gloucestershire (GL5 4HE) – traveling across 5 local sites (mileage reimbursed)

Salary: £30,755 – £32,888 per annum

Contract: Permanent, Full-Time (37 hours per week)

Start Date: ASAP

About the Role

Lift Schools is seeking a proactive IT Technician to join our growing Technology Team in Gloucestershire. Based primarily at Marling School, you will provide hands-on 1st and 2nd-line technical support across five local primary and secondary schools as we modernise technology and infrastructure across the region.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide responsive 1st/2nd line technical support for staff and students.

• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, network, and audio-visual issues.

• Support, configure, and maintain Windows, Apple, and Chrome devices.

• Assist with classroom technology, printing, telephony, CCTV, and infrastructure upgrades.

• Maintain accurate IT asset logs and support documentation.

Requirements

• Proven experience supporting hardware, software, and operating systems.

• Strong troubleshooting, diagnostic, and communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and manage a varied workload.

• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for travel between local schools.

• Prior experience in an educational setting is desirable, but not essential.
