We're looking for a Systems Engineer to join our Central IT Team at Cabot Learning Federation

This is a genuinely hands-on role for someone who enjoys designing, building and improving technology rather than simply maintaining it. As our Systems Engineer, you'll play a key role in developing integrations, creating automation and delivering technical solutions that support colleagues across our academies.

The role combines software development, systems engineering and data engineering. You'll work with technologies including PowerShell, Python, SQL, APIs, Active Directory, Microsoft Entra, Microsoft Fabric, Bromcom and our HR systems to develop integrations, automate processes and improve how our systems work together.

This is a varied role where no two days are the same. You could be developing a new integration between critical business systems, building bespoke automation to remove manual processes, designing data pipelines into Microsoft Fabric, or troubleshooting complex technical issues. The work you deliver will directly improve services for thousands of staff and students across the Federation.
