Sheridan Posted June 24 Posted June 24 I have a very specific strange issue with the Argos website - at the checkout when you specify to pay with a card, the fields for card number, expiry date and cardholder name appear as expected. However, only the cardholder name field is enabled, the others don't allow you to click into them to type This must be something to do with our smoothwall, as it works normally when tested externally, but what on earth would be causing such a specific issue? We have Argo.co.uk whitelisted/https inspection bypassed etc and I can't see anything else being blocked so this is a very odd one!
TechMonkey Posted June 24 Posted June 24 Javascript framework file being filtered? Launch developer tools and see what errors appear in the console or go through the network tab to see if anything doesn't load.
sigma Posted June 24 Posted June 24 Unlikely to be anything to do with Argos per se, but with their Payment Processor being either blocked on needing exemption from decryption.
Sheridan Posted June 24 Author Posted June 24 The dev tools show errors, but they seem to be for tiktok! Obviously argos pulling in trackers from all sorts of social sites.
ZeroHour Posted June 24 Posted June 24 Reload the page in dev tools with the network tab and look for errors there, then right click and try opening them to see if you get a block page. 1
