powdarrmonkey Posted September 4, 2008 Posted September 4, 2008 Ok, another powdarrmonkey long shot... I notice on a lot of mailing lists urls are shown as [n] and an accompanying footnote is provided with the address in. I can't find anyway of doing this automatically myself, short of by hand, using mutt and vi/elvis. It may be done by the list software, but my mails haven't show up like this so I suspect it's client software. Can anyone shed any light on this, or is everyone else just more diligent than me? TIA.
ajtaylor Posted September 5, 2008 Posted September 5, 2008 I seem to remember there was an emacs bundle that would do this - possibly part of gnus, but it's been a while since I used gnus to read my mail, so I could be imagining it!
