Green_Goblin Posted May 27 Posted May 27 Does anyone have any experience using Arbor with School Synergy Attend that they would be willing to share please? Attendance Leads from some of our schools have seen a demo and believe it fills some gaps in Arbor's attendance module but I'm not sure if this is a training issue or a genuine need for additional software. Thanks Jon
BKGarry Posted May 27 Posted May 27 I cannot say for School Synergy Attend but we use A Star Attendance https://astarattendance.com/ we had it with SIMS and carried it over. The company is run by some ex LEA Attendance Officers and they always seem to be ahead of requirements. It does print off quite few letters during wave 1, but it has made life a lot easier for our attendance officer. 1

Some of our schools use A Star Attendance but I'm not sure if it's the same schools that saw the demo. I have a meeting with Trust Leadership next week so will find out a bit more then.
Green_Goblin Posted June 1 Author Posted June 1 Just bumping this in case it was missed during the half-term break
Green_Goblin Posted June 2 Author Posted June 2 Thanks for pointing me in this direction @BKGarry, it really helped during the meeting to refer senior leadership to our schools that are already using A Star!
BKGarry Posted June 2 Posted June 2 I'm glad to have been of help there. I have to say, that the few dealings I have has with A Star, as the IT Manager (so not often) they have been amazing and they have always given a reason for the way things operate and where it leads to etc. 1
