Air compressor recommendations?

Hello, we have a lot of all-in-ones and they are at an age now where a very common complaint is noise/over heating due to a layer of crusted dust wedged between the fan and heat sink. Opening them is a mega-pain so we were thinking if anyone has had success cleaning all-in-ones using an air compressor (obviously not opening them first)? Any recommendations?

If you search Amazon for "air duster" there's some newer options, and there's also simple cans of compressed air. Those tend to have really thin applicator tubes, and are quite handy for getting in more fiddly places than you can reach sometimes with an electric unit.

Brought one in last few jobs after a recommendation from a colleague. 

 

Amazing. Knocks the compressed air cans out of the park.

 

Plastic on nozzles cracked but it did get an awful lot of use and only about £25/30 at the time.

 

Just make sure you take the appropriate H&S precautions as they're quite noisy.

A few on the team have the older version of these - https://cpc.farnell.com/it-dusters/it-pt8-bk/cordless-air-duster-pro-8-space/dp/SA04882 - we use them on projector filters. I still use a small paint brush because it's lighter (always in my tool bag), batteries never die and it removes the temptation to blow the filter out in situ. But that's just me and I get called an old fuzzy duddy for it!
