Hi all,
I've suddenly been asked to provide a solution for our Pearson exams in July.

The student has visual impairements and needs a Voice Dictation software and the ability to Read and Edit what has been written. The software needs to have auto-correct/spelling/grammer turned off and per-Pearson's requirements has no active internet connection. We also need this to work with LibreOffice as we aren't using Office.

Is the only way to do this the ExamWritePad solution? Or is  there a free way that won't involve me spending too much time in regedit.

Thanks all

What do they use at the moment, Dragon Naturally Speaking, Read&Write will both work offline once they've been set up.

We don't use anything at the moment, in the past I understand we've used human scribes.

Could they trial them to see how they like it,  think you will need the paid EWP as the much earlier free version isn't supported for Read&Write or so they told me when we had issues.

To confirm, are you experiencing this reading issue with Read&Write when specifically trying to use it with ExamWritePad?
If so, please be advised that the version of ExamWritePad you are using is significantly outdated and pre-dates the addition of external support for Read&Write.
