petben Posted May 7 Posted May 7 On our AD environment we currently 'help' staff by setting their computers to automatically screen clone to their projector, and to the correct resolution (via startup script, based on device group membership). As we move to Intune, startup scripts are not a thing, remediation scripts will kick in too late and a 'run at log in' scheduled task is too much admin if the computer moves or something. So, what do you do (if anything) to clone classroom PC's to the projectors? We still get quite a few 'my projector is black' support calls.
DavR Posted May 7 Posted May 7 Could you put it in as a Scheduled Task that runs at login time, and deploy to all machines? Should be achievable by PowerShell. We stopped short of running the duplicate screens command at login, as not everyone here needs that (and a couple of staff have extended display across two screens). We took the approach of putting a shortcut to the duplicate display command on our managed desktops, and educating people to use that when they needed.
