Win11 24H2 - Preventing users from renaming sound devices

Hi everyone,

 

We have discovered an issue in our environment where students are able to rename sound devices, this is applying machine wide for other users who log on. We restrict access to the majority of settings already but leave access to sound devices as a lot of the time students need to access this area. 

 

Has anyone experienced this? Or have any ideas to how we could restrict access to renaming devices without needing to lock off the entire area?
