Is there a way to force SMART Notebook files to open in 4K Viewer?

Hi All,

 

I've been having issues at one of my sites with the touch alignment when using the SMART MX Series Board. Touch is calibrated and works exactly as expected, apart from when trying to use the pen feature on SMART Notebook files. The pen marks can be anywhere from 5 to 30cm further away from where the pen is actually writing. The issue seems to be quite inconsistent and varies depending on the Notebook currently being presented.

 

I've done all the troubleshooting I can think of, including:

• Calibrating the board
• Restarting the device
• Updating SMART
• Updating the boards firmware
• Changing aspect ratio to better suit the Board
• Changing aspect ratio to better suit the laptop
• Forcing both displays to use 60hz
•  Forcing both displays to use 30hz

 

These issues seem to be resolved if I go to View > 4k Viewer. Has anyone come across a way to force .notebook files to open in the SMART 4K Viewer rather than just SMART Notebook?
