cwuk100 Posted March 12 Posted March 12 (edited) Anyone with a VOIP provider who is using SV1 (maybe SV1000) and been told its going EOL? Our provider (who I don't wholly trust has told us its going EOL on April 30th) Edited March 12 by cwuk100 Tags
synaesthesia Posted March 12 Posted March 12 (edited) First I've heard of it, we're on an SV1000 but getting rid of it in Summer thankfully (such an old fashioned crock, it's awful!) Our supplier is normally quite good at comms so would expect to see something shortly if that's true. Either way, EOL just usually means no longer supplied as new rather than not supported outright (I hope!) Edited March 12 by synaesthesia
cwuk100 Posted March 12 Author Posted March 12 Ours is Southern Comms, and they seem to want to push us to Evonex platform. They have put it down as SV1 platform but I cant find anything about SV1 anywhere, only SV1000 and Splice Comms site seems to be down.
synaesthesia Posted March 12 Posted March 12 Same supplier here, had nothing from them - but perhaps as they're already aware we're jumping ship they might not have bothered. Sites dead here too, doesn't bode too well!
synaesthesia Posted March 13 Posted March 13 Well the Splicecom site is back, with a full rebrand to Selectvoice. Half their site doesn't work unless you want to buy something.
