StenTech Posted February 28 Posted February 28 Hi All, Recently took over a school and the File Server runs on Server 2019 and it wont update, its got the following error. 2026-02 Cumulative Update for Windows Server 2019 (1809) for x64-based Systems (KB5075904) - Error 0x800f098 I have run SFC/DISM with no luck, stopped all windows update services and renamed SoftwareDistribution and catroot2 to no avail. After all the above it BSOD so having to recover again from a backup. In place upgrade also wont work. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Will do that now 👍🏻 Just remember to read the first posting rules as they require you to run to scans and send logs over of the CBS logs. It is all legit, they helped me with 3 of my servers over christmas. Turns out thr drivers hive was buggered on all 3 servers. I've got a DC which won't take Frb 2026 CU so will be posting asking for a fix.
